After one year I finally managed to do a proper makeup test for Rufus. Hopefully the rest of the costume won’t take this long or else I have to cosplay his senior self. 🤣
Working on my Rufus Shinra Costume. The wig is almost finished! No makeup yet. Just some brows and random lenses. Those need to be smaller.

Shipping is so slow. I’m still waiting for my fabric samples, but I got some minor details for Rufus until now. Buttons, tie and zippers. Probably using just the zipper hangers.
Since I can’t find any fanart for this ship, I spend some hours today and drew art myself. Had been a while, but was fun! I used a lot of different fanart as reference to get the poses right. Thanks to all those great artists out there!
Back to the pic: I know that Rufus uses his gun right-handed, but I like to think that he is great with both. 😏 There fight screams for this if you ask me.

As for your question: I would love to help you, but I dont know if there are character boots available for him yet. I bought some biker boots and costumized mine a lot. But maybe you give it a try and look into biker boots for something similar??
Your Mikhail cosplay is SPOT ON and I'm kinda jealous because I'm not very experienced at making clothes so I gotta know - did you make your own pattern for his coat? Or did you base it off an already existing one? (and would you be willing to share?) Thank you ❤️
Hello dear! Thank you very much for liking my Mikhail 🙈 but you dont have to be jelous! As for the pattern: i used a very old pattern (wich i use for everything as a base) and made a test coat first. From cheap fabric. This way i could make it fit perfectly first, before going for the real one. I really recommend this, when you dont know how to start yet! As for the test coat, im not sure if i kept it and im on vacation right now. Have to take a look when i got home. ❤
